NEW DELHI (Scrap Register): India containerized shredded scrap import average prices plummeted during the week ended October 07, while India's major plastic scrap prices on Scrap Register Price Index dropped.
Indian containerized scrap import prices fell by $11 a ton week-on-week to $230 a ton Nhava Sheva port.

Market participants reported a EU-origin cargo for shredded scrap booked at $230 a ton for 2kt, whilst deals for HMS #1&2 80:20 were also concluded at between $215- 220 a ton; these trades normalized to $225-230 a ton according to TSI’s methodology.
