Preliminary antidumping determinations delayed by US Department of Commerce
NEW YORK (Scrap Register): The preliminary anti-dumping discoveries in the investigation of the US Department of Commerce on the cold-drawn mechanical tubing from six countries will be delayed, the Commerce quoted.
As per the Commerce, the preliminary discoveries in the investigation on cold-drawn mechanical tube imports from China, Germany, Italy, India, South Korea and Switzerland, are due no later than November 15, extended from a prior deadline of September 26.
Earlier, the Commerce postponed the deadline for its preliminary determinations of the ongoing investigation of cold-drawn mechanical tubing from India and China.
Cold-drawn mechanical tubing of carbon and alloy steel in circular cross-sections , in actual outside diameters less than 331 mm, and regardless of wall thickness, surface finish, end finish or industry specification, are the main components included in the investigation.
