Peru's Gold, Silver production decline in March


LIMA (Scrap Register): Peru's Gold production reached 11069.859 kilograms in March, down 0.28% year-on-year, according to the latest report of the Mining Statistical Bulletin issued by the Ministry of Energy and Mines (MEM).

Gold production during the first three months of 2019 recorded at 31976.09 kilograms, down from 33341.596 kilograms in the corresponding period last year.

The country's silver output recorded at 313342 kilograms in March, a decline of 10.28% compared to the production of 349263 kilograms in March 2018.

Cumulative production of silver during the first quarter of 2019 was 870418 kilograms, declined 13.98% as compared to 1011885 kilograms in the corresponding period last year.
