India Gold jewellery exports fall 14.27% in May

MUMBAI (Scrap Register): India's gold jewellery exports in May 2019 dropped by 14.27% to $1033.80 million from US$ 1205.94 million in May 2018, The Economic Times reported, citing latest data from the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC).

During the first two months of current fiscal gold jewellery exports fell by 3.87 per cent to $ 2.01 billion from $2.09 billion in April to May of FY19.

Silver jewellery exports registered a growth of 119.25 per cent at $158.58 million in April to May 2019.
